| DESCRIPTION |
This course is designed to improve typing speed
and accuracy through timed writings and corrective drills. Students will be
tested and begin study at the appropriate level. Minimum typing speed of 20
WAM required. This course is one unit. |

| ATTENDANCE |
Since the purpose of this course is the
development of a psychomotor skill, consistent attendance is necessary.
Excessive absences will result in an unsatisfactory grade in the course. To
receive one unit of credit, you are required to complete all of the assigned
lessons and timings. |
| COMPUTER LAB |
Additional computer lab time is available. Hours
will be announced. |

GRADING Your final grade will be
determined by your keying speed improvement over your
initial speed according to the following chart.

Cheating will not be tolerated in any way and will result in
an “F” grade in the course. |
| ATTENDANCE |
According to the college attendance regulations It is your
responsibility to
drop the class before the deadline. If you simply stop attending and do not
drop, you will receive an “F” in the course. |
