Annette Jennings

| Annette Jennings has
been a faculty member at LAVC since 1989. She holds a Master's
Degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Management and Business
Education. She earned her degrees from the University of Utah. She also
holds a Secondary Education and Community College Credential in Business
Education. She teaches all phases of Business Education and Computer
Application courses. Mrs. Jennings is currently serving as Chair of the Computer Applications & Office Technologies Department. She is a member of the Career Education Committee, California Business Education Association, and National Business Education Association. Her teaching experience includes teaching in the Business/Economics Department at California State University Northridge, in various business colleges, and in high schools in Salt Lake City, Utah and Los Angeles, California. She has participated in the Los Angeles Valley Tech Prep Program. The main emphasis of her participation was to design a career path in computer applications for high school students. She has participated in recruitment of minority faculty for the district. She has attended recruitment conferences and spoke with prospective applicants. She has developed and presented Office Procedures workshops for office workers on the Los Angeles Valley Campus. She has designed training programs for private industry. |
