| Jacqueline was first hired as a full-time instructor in the
LACCD and at LAVC in 1999; she has taught part-time at LAVC since
1989. She has taught at the university level—California State
University, Northridge, and California State University, Los
Angeles—as well as in private colleges. She has been teaching
part-time in the Business Department of Santa Monica Community
College since 1990. She teaches all phases of Business Education
and computer applications. Her professional experience includes the following: Jacqueline is a member of the Los Angeles Valley College Academic Senate. She was a member of LAVC’s Standard 4 2000-2001 Accreditation Committee. She served as the 2000-2001 president of Delta Pi Epsilon, Delta Kappa Chapter, a national honorary professional graduate society for business educators. She is also a member of Pi Lamda Theta, an international honor society and professional association in education. Jacqueline is member of the California Business Education Association, and the National Business Education Association, Los Angeles Chapter. Jacqueline has also developed on-line distance education classes in computer applications, including CAOT 1. She is currently working on other online courses. Jacqueline has conducted various computer application workshops for the above professional organizations, as well as for college staff development programs. She organizes a yearly graduation reception honoring the CAOT graduates. She has taught writing workshops for private industry, including The Los Angeles Times. She was a legal assistant in private industry. She holds a real estate salesperson’s license, and has worked extensively in the real estate field. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Master of Arts degree from California State University, Los Angeles. |
